The label is very durable and the print quality was decent. It was not as high resolution or fine as the print detail on other laser poly labels I've used, but the bar codes I printed on the labels still scanned excellently. However the labels will leave a residue when placed on plastic material. I asked if these labels left a residue when being pealed off before and someone answered my question saying they will not.However even on a glossy plastic surface they left a sticky residue behind. We then had to use Goo Gone to remove the residue even after a short 24 hour period. And I have used over a thousand of these labels at this point and removed them from hundreds of items from dozens of different plastic surfaces, and I can tell you that they do leave a residue on most if not all plastic surfaces. I am not sure about glass, as I have not used them on any glass surfaces. I also know they were not marketed as removable labels, therefore I have do not consider this to be a negative for the product. It is to be expected from most permanent labels.One good point is that even after removing and placing the labels on another surface, the printing did not flake. We exposed them to water, friction, and cleaning chemicals and the printed text endured just fine. So whereas I have not thoroughly tested their durability, I can say that with my Brother HL-4570 Color Laser printer they are the most durable labels I have used. I have bought many makes and models of labels as well, so that is saying something.
