Many other bore sighting tools are slightly off center, and you shouldn’t need to “zero” your zeroing tool. You can rotate a zeroing laser as you point it ant a target and it shouldn’t move. This one is PERFECT. If you have a lesser laser bore tool, you can rotate yours on target and you see a ring instead of a dot, you can zero toward the center of the ring, but you shouldn’t have to do that! With this tool it’s exactly on target.Can be used for any caliber.I considered getting the cool “bullet shaped” bore laser tool because they look cool and fit in your case easily. But you need a different one for every possible caliber and I couldn’t find one where people didn’t complain about it being off. And with those you can’t compensate by rotating the tool and using the center of the ring, because it’s inside the gun. So you can only use those to “get on paper” and then you have to manually zero it. If you’re not even on paper at first, move target a bit closer instead.Use this tool and your zeroed in two minutes. Period.
