As I mentioned in the other ABSORBER review I did these are clearly meant for a woman's head or maybe Asian male; mine is too big. It also seems like it was packaged straight out of the former machine without buffing the edges as it scratches, nearly cutting in places! With all the light leakage around the edges I would never use for an actual laser of any real power: they're more like impact glasses than anything else.Unlike the other one I bought, however, the dye inside these actually works as intended hence 2*. These simply kill green light on down (532.8 DPSS ND:YAG--common in green laser pointers--specifically mentioned) while letting yellow on up through. For working on DPSS you wouldn't want these (leaks or not) as it likely lets IR (pump) through, but if it has the filter or for Blu-ray or Royal Blue LEDs (pump source in LED lights) this will work greatIf they fit you, these would work for sleeping. I bought them for night driving as both LED & HID lights have a big blue component (wiki Blue Light Hazard), and these indeed do a wonderful job of knocking those down even on bright! Unfortunately you also can't see green traffic lights especially during the day.Unless you have to save a buck, get the more comfortable goggles & glasses, these can't really be used as is for anything serious.
